We are very excited to offer this Rx Burning 101 class in Sonora on Saturday, March 25th!
This workshop is intended for landowners to learn about permitting, liability, fire effects on native plants, unit prep and mitigation, cultural fire, heat management, and more. We have an experienced panel of instructors and our mission is to equip private landowners and community members with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to implement low-complexity prescribed burns. This particular event will be classroom-based, but we hope to be able to provide some follow-up field days to get hands-on with our newfound knowledge.
As always, you are welcome to join us even if you do not own any land. Space is limited and registration is $20.
Please feel free to share with anyone you think may be interested!
